Keynote Speaker: Dr Andrew Chew
Drs Sok Hui and Andrew Chew who have retired from Flinders Medical Centre, SA are dedicated Christian Missionary doctors who served the Lord in various African countries since the 1990s. They served in Mission Hospitals in Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Cameroon, Egypt, Madagascar, and India.
Sok, a specialist in internal and palliative medicine and Andrew, a general surgeon, have contributed immensely in training and equipping doctors across Africa. Of special note is the surgical training and mentoring doctors in Africa and the Pacific region, through the Gastroesophageal Training Program in Fiji.
