Medical Camps

We are a privileged lot here in Australia and it is our duty to reach out to our neighbours with our God given professions and the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ. The way that we do that is by conducting medical mission trips to the Pacific Nations. By God’s grace and help, HCFO have done approximately 29 medical outreach camps to five different Pacific Nations. Through these trips the gospel message has been shared by work and by word to thousands of people and we have had the privilege of seeing hundreds, young and old coming to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

We invite like-minded health professionals who have a heart to serve the people who live in remote parts of Pacific Islands with your skills and talents to join us.

HCFO members (medical professionals and others) who come on these missions fund their own trip and, in many occasions, transport much needed medical supplies in their airline baggage allowance. Accommodation and food is very basic and hours could be long at the clinics hence a true servant heart is required to serve on these mission trips.

On the other hand, as we follow in the footsteps of Christ to follow his command to serve the underprivileged, you will be blessed spiritually and many miracles have been witnessed in these trips over the years as you partner with the Creator of this universe in His kingdom work.

How to Prepare

Th best way to prepare is to connect with the HCFO group in your city or town and speak to people who have gone for one of the HCFO Medical Outreaches to the Pacific Nations. If you do not know anyone, please attend our monthly HCFO Connect meeting and monthly prayer meetings on Zoom. Zoom links for these meetings are available to all who are on our mailing list.

Once you have prayerfully considered the invitation to join the HCFO team and decided to join us on one of the medical outreach trips, you will require some further information which is available here.
